The Program follows an insteressting concept:
Contemporary pieces and an old own are mixed together. The old piece is variated in multiple ways and step by step it gets alienated from the original.
A humoristic approach to Contemporary Music. It provides some smirks and tension up to the end.
The second movement of Joseph Haydns Trumpet Concerto in E flat is the musical material for this sound experiment.

Generally, there are only known pieces by male composers for the combination of Piano and Trumpet. But where are the pieces by femal composers composed for Piano and Trumpet of the last 100 years? le2dam started the search of pieces by female composers.

With the help of Archive of Women in Music international Research Center
in Frankfurt/Main, Germany Le Liu and Damaris Richerts discoverd the works of Claude Arrieu and Francine Aubin. Both of them suit to the pieces of George Enescu and Karl Pilss. Together they form an unity. Le2dam raises this musical treasures through the recording and performances.

It is often said, that women are represented already everywhere. So there is no need for the promotion form them.
That's not true! Although le2dam has many years of experience with literature for Trumpet and Piano, the percentage of performed pieces by female composers was in a few thousands. To change that, they are always looking for pieces for both instruments and commission compositions. 

In order to bring these pieces on stage, le2dam has dedicated this program only to female composers.
